Much warmer than I expected for the weight.
I was expecting a fairly standard fleece jacket, but Highland™ feels noticeably warmer than the ones I've owned before. I've been wearing it on early morning walks and commuting to work, and I haven't needed to pile several layers underneath. What I like most is that it keeps me warm without feeling like a huge winter coat.
The wind protection is what impressed me most.

I used the size chart before ordering and the fit worked well for me. There's enough room underneath for a jumper without the jacket looking oversized. The fleece is very comfortable and the hood gives good coverage. I'd have liked one more inside pocket, but overall I'm very pleased with it.
The quality feels better than I expected.
The first thing I noticed was how substantial the material feels. The fleece is dense and soft, the zips feel solid and the cuffs sit comfortably around the wrists. I've worn mine regularly since it arrived and it has held its shape very well. It doesn't feel like something made for one season.
